God’s Unchanging Guarantees

By definition, a guarantee is a promise or assurance that something will happen or that something is true, secure or protected. Three common types are a money-back guarantee, a warranty guarantee, and a satisfaction guarantee. What are some examples of guarantees in your life?
Some guarantees have more weight than others. Some people are believable and put their guarantees to action, while others simply talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. With God, you can find peace knowing that His guarantees will never change.

In scripture, a guarantee refers to a divine promise from God that is often connected to the Holy Spirit as a down payment or assurance of our future with Him. It is not a wish; it's a firm promise of God’s unbreakable commitment to fulfill His word. God's promises assure us that our identity, salvation, and future are secure in Him.

The Holy Spirit is God’s guarantee that you belong to Him, you will receive the full inheritance of eternal life, and His promises will come true no matter what.

Let's go through 10 of God's guarantees in the Bible.
1. God will never leave you.
Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”
Hebrews 13:5
2. God is your protector.
But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord ; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord , have spoken!
Isaiah 54:17
3. God loves you unconditionally.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.
Romans 8:38
4. God has a plan for you.
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord . “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11
5. God will give you strength.
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.
Isaiah 40:29
6. God hears your prayers.
And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.
1 John 5:14
7. God forgives you.
But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
1 John 1:9
8. God gives peace.
Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7
9. God will finish what He started.
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
Philippians 1:6
10. God offers eternal life.
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
According to 2 Corinthians 1:21-22, the Holy Spirit is the guarantee that we belong to God and that He will complete the work He has promised us. Has God promised you something? Remember that His word guarantees it will happen, and His word will never change.
It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us.
2 Corinthians 1:21-22
