The Promise of the Holy Ghost

God made a covenant promise to pour out His Spirit on all flesh, not just a few. Jesus told His followers to wait in Jerusalem until they were filled with power from on high. In obedience, they prayed together in unity, preparing their hearts through repentance and expectation. When the Day of Pentecost came, a rushing mighty wind filled the house, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. That same promise still stands today for you, your children, and all who will call on the name of Jesus.
