We are They

Feb 1, 2026    Chad Rowan

The central message of this sermon rests on the revelation that Jesus Christ is the living Word of God, present and active throughout all history. While the Pharisees studied the Scriptures religiously, they missed the Person those Scriptures pointed to. Jesus was not merely a teacher born in Bethlehem but the eternal Word who was present at creation, spoke from the burning bush, and stood as the fourth man in the fiery furnace. The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, serves as a comprehensive biography of Christ, testifying of His power, nature, and redemptive work long before His incarnation.

In a world where many will never open a Bible, Christians are the "They" who now testify of Him. By embodying His mercy, faith, and love, believers act as the physical body of Christ, providing living proof to the world that His Word is true.
